To my Mum going through Separation

Australian statistics show that the vast majority of children live in the primary care of their mother. As a mother navigating separation, financial restraints may limit your ability to give your child what you want to. The reality is that your child doesn’t need the newest and best material items.

What your child needs, money can’t buy.

Some words of encouragement in the video script below:

Dear Mum,

I know that you have been sad. I sometimes hear you cry.

I bet you feel like you have the weight of the world on your shoulders and I don’t know how to make it better. I know that you are trying your best. Change feels a bit scary.

As long as we have each other, we have everything that we need. We don’t need to have a perfect home or the newest car. I don’t need the latest toys because we have imagination!

It’s nice when we have time together, to talk and share … to laugh and love.

Please remember that I love you and I love out time together.

With love from, Your child
